At a Minor Tykes hockey game in Winnipeg Manitoba parents want the coach of their kids team fired.
“Not every kid is a winner.” says John whose Son plays of Coach Michael’s Minor Tykes recreational league team. “my kid is not a woosey, Mike is turning my kid into a wimp.”
Sandra whose child plays on the same team said “The coach doesn’t even yell at the kids to chase the puck. WTF, they are kids they need to be motivated!”
It was told to us that the parent have had enough with the Woke coach Michael and have made a petition to the Hockey league to have the coach removed.
We tried to meet up with Michael after a game he was coaching but he ran out of the rink right after the game.
“One day” said John, “after practice he had the kids put rainbow stickers on the hockey pucks! What the heck for!?”
We spoke to Mary whose kid is on a different team but just played Michaels Team and she told us that Michaels team is good and the players are nice, she wishes her son was on his team. as Michaels team allows the Kids to bring their teddy bears to the games.
If Michael is taken off as a coach from the team, it wouldn’t be first time for the league or for Michael. Last year Michael was removed from the Peewee team. At a time when volunteers are needed and har to come by, parents need to be a little more open to different styles of coaching a representative from the Hockey League told us and who wishes to remain anonymous. “Hockey parent are bullies” they said.
