The femisist Liberal government is in dire need of cash and are pulling all stops to fill the bank accounts of Canada.
Currently anyone who pays spousal support is allowed to have those support payments as a reduction of income on their tax returns. Well that is just unacceptable in the current economy stated Chrystia Freeland, the Minister of Finance for Canada.
When pressed about the financial hardship of spousal support payors, Freeland said they need to make wise choices and live modesty and perhaps get a second job.
